While I do like the concept, by doing it that way, it leaves it available for people to "game" the system and it potentially leaves well deserving athletes off the list! Going forward, to be considered for the All-Star game, middle school players must excel in various skill areas such as ball handling, shooting, defense, and team play. Coaches will evaluate players throughout the regular season and select the top performers based on their overall skill level and performance.
